Who we are
The NOCOME TRUST is a non-profit, charitable organisation, established on 07-02-2005, registered under the Indian Trust Act, where we undertake the care and rehabilitation of orphaned and abandoned children, Old Age people who are being dumped on the street as useless, women who are chased away by the family, disabled persons who need life skill training to live on their own. Our aim is to provide a safe environment where these children and others have access to their basic rights - of protection, education, healthcare and a happy childhood and a happy life.
This has been founded by Mr. P. Sakthivel who hailed from poor family. His resolute passion for serving helpless, caused him to start a Trust with sole aim of serving helpless people. His personal painful experience in his young life motivated him to help those who are deprived , orphaned and abandoned. Initially, with small income from his Tea Stall , he had been serving orphaned children by providing shelter and food. In due course, Kind hearted people from local area came forward and extended their help in the form of giving away their surplus foods and used cloths.
Presently, there are approximately 90 orphan children, 25 mentally retarded children , 50 Elders, 22 Destitute women and 40 physically disabled persons. The whole family cosists of 227 people. Our day to day expenses are met by local donation which is subject to vagaries of their wish. Our Trust is running in two locations. One caters to elders, disabled, mentally retarded and another facility is for children and destitute women.
To promote ability among all the orphaned/abandoned/underprivileged children , senior citizens within and outside the support system , by educating , guiding and giving them the love and care which they deserve. We act as a transition for these children to lead a life with complete social dignity and also make them able to help the society in return.
